Our Mission
The Denver Mustangs provides individuals with developmental disabilities an opportunity to play the sport of ice hockey in an environment which is adapted to their level of ability. Our program offers athletes the freedom to fully participate in a team sport.

The Denver Mustangs team was formed in the fall of 2016 and held their first practice Nov. 19, only a few weeks after the team’s formation. The Mustangs is the third Special Hockey team to be formed in Colorado. There are a growing number of people with developmental disabilities who are playing or wanting to play hockey in Colorado.
